Paul Nichols' excellent cartoon (found here) reminds me of a chilling warning from Padre Pio. When someone told Padre Pio that they didn't believe in hell, he would be very straight with them and say, "you'll believe in it when you get there." I called this a 'chilling' warning, maybe it would be better described as  'fiery'.
